Travel information


F&P18 is scheduled to meet the train and airplane timetables. Bus transportation is organized from Joensuu Airport and Sokos Hotel Kimmel to Koli Nature Centre Ukko / Break Sokos Hotel Koli, where F&P18 will be held.

Travelling by car
Arriving by car from Joensuu to Koli it takes 1 hour to drive. Parking is free in Break Sokos Hotel Koli. Address is Sokos Hotel Koli, Yläkolintie 39, 83960 Koli. See GoogleMaps route from Joensuu to Break Sokos Hotel Koli here.

Travelling by air

Finnair will fly to Joensuu on 10th of October leaving at 7.25AM from Helsinki and arriving at 8.25AM to Joensuu. After the F&P18 on 11th of October Finnair will fly to Helsinki leaving from Joensuu at 5.30PM and arriving at 6.30PM to Helsinki.

Travelling by train

By train you need to travel day before 10th of October. On 9th of October there are all day trains coming to Joensuu but the latest leaves at 6.29PM from Helsinki and will be at 10.53PM in Joensuu. On 11th of October the train leaves from Joensuu train station at 6.08PM and will arrive at 10.49PM to Helsinki. Please note that special priced Sokos Hotel Kimmel in Joensuu is located right next to the train station, also F&P bus will stop at the Sokos Hotel Kimmel.
